Toothfairy

I aided Trey Lyford as 1st Assistant Director and Script Supervisor on this short film. I managed a crew of 27 over a three-day shoot in Philadelphia across three locations. I wrangled the crew each day, gave safety awareness briefings, and marked each slate (in my SS role) with the 2nd AC, Will McGinn.

 

This short was  produced by Desmond Confoy and his crew at Aspire Productions.

I learned a great deal on this film such as the importance of clear communication when managing such a large crew. Moving across multiple locations in a short span of time proved  difficult but I learned that giving time to set up our equipment in an organized and simple fashion made tracking gear and breaking down the shoot much more efficient.

The short film is currently in post-production and will premiere in the winter of 2024.
