Panopticon

This silent short film follows paranoid college student who becomes obsessed with the modern abundance of surveillance.

I wrote, directed, and edited this short film as an undergraduate student at Villanova University in 2021.

I learned a great deal on this film such as the importance of pre-production. I storyboarded this short entirely which allowed me to relax on shoot days and focus on other areas such as performance and lighting.

This short was filmed on an iPhone 14 and edited by myself in Adobe Premiere Pro. Visual effects for the stars and security camera light were achieved in Adobe After Effects.

The short film premiered and won the award for Best Director at the 2021 Villanova University Film Festival.
