Villanova Orientation - Student Life 2023

This video is the result of a year-long collaboration between the Villanova First Year Orientation program and myself, as head of the student-run club Villanova Television's External Productions department.

I worked with the Villanova First Year Orientation program to create a this video which showcases student organizations, university offices, and community programs. I led this production of this video during my tenure as head of Villanova Television's External Productions department.

I directed the filming of over 200 hours of organization b-roll across a full academic year as well as 20 student and faculty interviews. This is involved the management of 15 undergraduate students, including the coordination of their vast schedules to ensure the completion of our rigorous weekly filming schedule. I organized the filming over of 45 university clubs, teaching students to use Canon C200s and instructing them on proper coverage techniques.Finally, I edited the video under the direction of Sara Lutkewitte, the assistant director of Villanova's First Year Orientation Program.

The final video premiered to over 2,000 incoming students in Villanova's basketball stadium in the fall of 2023. Sara Lutkewitte and the Orientation Program were so happy with my work that they invited me to lead the production of the next year's video.
